Lead Teacher
The position of Lead Teacher includes fostering an environment to promote the physical, mental, social, and academic well-being of children at APSLC. Lead teachers will provide quality care in balance with social and intellectual experiences. With appropriate guidance, children will grow both psychologically and socially in the care of Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers.
Essential qualifications:
✓High School Diploma or equivalent.
✓Must pass background checks.
✓ Strong written and oral communication skills.
✓ Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
✓ Ability to solve problems and act quickly in a crisis.
✓ Must be able to multi-task and work in a high-stress, loud environment.
✓ Must have strong decision-making skills.
✓ Attention to detail,
✓ Must have reliable transportation.
✓ Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
✓ Must be willing to be flexible and adaptable.
Assistant Teacher
The position of Teacher Assistant includes fostering an environment to promote the physical, mental, social, and academic well-being of children at APSLC. Assistant Teachers will provide quality care in balance with social and intellectual experiences. With appropriate guidance, children will grow both psychologically and socially in the care of Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers.

Floater Teacher
The position of Floater Teacher will be responsible for providing quality responsive care in the best interest of our children and will engage them in developmentally appropriate activities that will encourage them to develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Essential qualifications:
✓ Must be at least eighteen years of age.
✓ Qualified as a teacher of young children, and meet the requirements of the licensing agency.
✓ Must be able to relate well to children.
✓ Be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the A Perfect Start's program and philosophy.
